YOU COLLECT YOUR COMPOST

Sign up online to receive a 2.4, 3.5 or 5 gallon compost bin depending on household size.

Fill the bin with acceptable food waste and other organic materials.

Once a week, place the bin in your pre-arranged pickup spot
WE PICK IT UP

Our collectors ride bikes, with trailers attached once a week, to your pickup spot and empty your bin into ours leaving your bin with you.

We transport your food waste to our Phoenix Press Farm site for composting.
WE PROFESSIONALLY PROCESS THE COMPOST

Organic waste is mixed with leaves and woodchips in the proper ratio and processed in a in-vessel aerated system to produce quality compost in 60 days.
YOU RECEIVE OR DONATE QUALITY COMPOST
The compost is used to enhance the soil for New Haven Farm sites and other urban farms and community garden, with surplus compost available to interested participating households.
